31 mths - Halloween Party

30.10.09 – Whooo…. It was a happening eerily night at Woodgrove Ave. There was road block; people around the estate and out of the estate came together to celebrate. Like last year, I was dressed up as Jack o Lantern. Our teachers put up some Halloween drama and song infront of the entrance of the cc and attracted numerous on-lookers; free public advertising eh.

10.10.10 - Mummy told me she is returning work in 4 weeks time. I told her not to work and stay at home. I want mummy… sob sob…

30mths - Sport’s Day

01.10.09 – It’s the annual sport meet again! This time round we are more prepared with the picnic mat, snack & drinks. I am in the green team. We couldn’t bring Caleb along for fear of the sunny sun and no helper to look after him during the family games session.

We started the day with morning exercise and some of the songs were what I have been humming back at home. Mummy was impressed that I could remember such long lyrics at my age.

30mths - Daddy digged poo poo

30.09.10 – My milk consumption increased. Each time Caleb drink milk, I must also have milk. Overdose of milk and not drinking enough water cause constipation. When the “feeling” is here, I would squeeze my bum; hold my bowel to prevent it from hurting again. After a while, the pain will go away. Unknowingly, this become a cycle that makes constipation continues and become worse. It gets frustrating and hurt even more. So bad that Daddy got to dig out that painful stools from me.

I cried. Everyone see me also heart pain. Dr Ooi put me on stool softeners and tasked my parents to be serious with potty training from now on. The next few days are soft food, diluted milk, more water, papayas, bananas, prune, juices and on pedialyte. Getting me to sit on toilet bowl becomes essential. I got a nice pink mini toilet bowl as an encouragement.

30mths - Mid Autumn Festival Celebration 2010

24.09.10 – Everyone put on their traditional party clothes. I wore a pinky cheongsam with matching pinky hairband. We handmade the mooncakes, assisted by our lovely teachers in cc today and I am eager to show to Mummy how I press the mould.

26.09.10 - Back home, I was the most mobile one full on energy on the playground cos rest of the CHINs babies is still young and need support. Daddy taught me how to hold sparkles for the first time and I am very careful about it.

28.09.10 – On the actual day itself, I went over to Ah Ma’s place to play with the older OKEs kiddos.

29 mths - National Day Celebration

06.08.2010 - It’s very easy to remember Kaien’s birthday as he was born a day before National Day. He is now one and learning to walk without support. For the first time (I think), the cc is putting up a mini performance with fund raising.

28mths - New addition

15.07.2010 – Arrival of my baby brother! Mummy was admitted the day before and I look forward to see Caleb. I am now official promoted to jiejie and a one night stay at TMC.

27mths - Strings of CHIN’s unfortunate

All happened in the mth of June 2010. First, Kaiye’s first birthday was being called off because Auntie Jenn contracted chicken pox followed by Kaien who hasn’t even start cc but was down with mild HFMD which popo suspects he would have got it from his church playgroup. Uncle Xiang took Kaiye over to stay with us for a week and I was down with herpangina a few days later; a distance cousin of HFMD. After that Uncle Xiang contracted mild chicken pox and quarantines himself in his own home while Kaiye with fever finally reunited with Auntie Jenn. During this period, Lexuan experienced high fever and the worried Uncle Kiat & Aunite Karris brought her to hospital in the middle of the night where she was diagnosed with viral fever. The usual Sunday family dinner become quiet…

25.06.2010 – I keep my mouth shut…I couldn’t sing & dance well for the Father’s Day Celebration in cc before I was diagnosed with herpangina. Because of the blisters, I couldn’t eat at all no matter how temping the food is. I could only hold my favorite snacks tightly using my tiny hands; even milk & ice cream hurts… I couldn’t attend cc for a week.

Finally, the coconut juice soothes my throat and I could eat some yoghurt and my favorite pocky on the 3rd day.
