12 mths - The twins turned one!

20.03.2009 – To mark my first year, Daddy and Mommy bought me for photo shooting at Elegance. This is where they took their wedding photos three years back.

I was pretty uneasy with the studio and the lighting and it took quite a while for me to get warm up. Overall, the experience was still good and I really enjoy it. We will be going there again to next mth to shortlist the pixs as Daddy was rushing for class that day and busy preparing for his upcoming exam.

So stay tune… ;)

21.03.2009 – Twins of OKE. My little twin cousins, Qi En & Jia En have turned one today!

My cute cousins wearing the tutu skirts Mommy made for them.

The beautiful mama and the twins.

Wahhhh... sob sob.. Where’s my parents?

The other rainbow was just next to the obvious one but because it was rather faded off so not able to view it.

In the past, people always say I look like daddy. Now that I’ve reach one year old, some people comment I look like mommy.

Two months back, Yipo bring out old photos of Mommy to compare. For half a second, we do look quite similar but one more glance will show that I look more like... Daddy!!!

First Birthday Celebration

01.03.09 – It’s my big day! Wohoooo...
Not my actual birthday yet but celebrating it on a Sunday so that the CHINs, the OKEs and the friends were all able to turn up. Hmmm… I heard the government had gave out some cash ya…

There wasn’t any cartoon character theme. I had not started TV and Mommy feel that I am too young to appreciate any cartoon character, so decided to go for a simple balloon theme instead.

All the party bags were packed with old school surprises and a ball/ balloon to feed the theme. Each table was also placed with an air pump, long balloons and basic guide to DIY balloon art. Daddy is in-charge of guiding the guests with his basic balloon art skill.

As for my birthday cake, I am getting a 2kg #1 shape chocolate ganache cake layer with pink quilt fondant, filled with beautiful tiny pearls at the intersection with larger pearls to line the surrounding bottom of the cake.

It’s like a mini wedding. I received a pearl bracelet from Auntie Karris to greet my guests with a lovely Polo Lauren dress that Uncle Choon & Auntie Adeline brought for me when they went for their honeymoon to Orlando last year. And then, Mommy changed me into her handmade tutu skirt during the cake cutting session.

Luckily, it only last for 2.5hours. I was so exhausted.

Woo… I have presents! Adult food tasting
