13 mths – A week with Mommy.
16.04.09 – A week with Mommy. Gonggong and popo are away. Gonggong and friends went Xiamen to perform for a charity show and popo tagged along with him for holidays.
And she keeps asking me to scoop these balls. 
Self-feed lesson one – Mommy been hoping to see me to use a spoon soon.

We head to Ikea for dinner and Daddy get emotional when my stroller was nearly touching the table that we were waiting for and there was this big kiasu guy around his 40+ appeared opposite us from nowhere and quickly set his butt to chomp the seats, fold his arms and look away from us just as the diners are getting ready to go. Obviously, he knows we’re waiting at the table and avoid our presence.
Daddy was so upset to see us; being bullied by others. He pull the table toward us and scolded the big guy for not being a gentleman and that he jolly well knows that Mommy was waiting for the table and he ought to be shameful for bullying a woman and baby in stroller. Without uttering a word, the big guy stand up and signal that we can have the seats.
This time round, Daddy push the table back to him and tell him sternly that we do not want this sitting anymore, we would not feel good eating on this table and he can have it if he can still eat in peace without feeling guilty of what he has done to a helpless woman and baby. Many diners were looking at the big guy as he placed both his hands on his cheek as if covering his face as he continues to sit down.
This is the first time Daddy tells someone off in the public. Shortly after the saga, we got ourselves an even better and bigger table at one of the corners. ;)

19.04.2009 – This evening, Daddy bring us to the Safra @ Mt Faber for a swim. The water there seems better than the Yishun one. But for changing room, Mommy still prefer Safra Yishun.

13 Mths – Mar’08 Babies Birthday Bash
12.04.09 – Organized by a group of forum mummies, mommy was so looking forward to see 20+ babies of my age. Meeting the people, tricycle and motorbike overwhelmed me! All of us had so much fun!

09.04.09 – Went United Square today for the edu toy sales. It wasn’t fantastic and there was really nothing much to buy for my age cos Mommy feel that I already have too much toys and really no point getting different toys that serve the same purpose. Afterall, I’m just 13mth+ and still do not know how to play most of my toys yet. The only item purchased was this set of wings; brought by Uncle Huihui.

13mths - Ah Ma's Birthday!
04.04.09 – Happy birthday to Ah Ma!
This day, I went strolling at the stadium with Daddy & Mommy after my morning milk feed. Exercise in my PJ with my over-sized Minnie sunglasses. It was a glaring sunny day and I’ve roughly completed walking 200m. I was so tired after that.

How long do I still have to walk?
After a good rest at home, we went to fetch ah gong & ah ma in the evening. Daddy been wanted to bring them to try out a restaurant along Kitchener Road. It’s the main HQ of where we celebrated popo’s bday but it was a different outlet last year.
This is the first time, ah gong went thumbs up for the food. He usually prefers dinning at M’sia most of the time.

12th mth - April is here...
01.04.09 – April is here. Mommy still works late. Nowadays, it’s always Daddy who put me to sleep. I am so looking forward to end April & May. I heard ZOO visit is on the menu…
02.04.09 – Tonight, I’ve overheard Mommy praise me infront of Daddy but keep emphasizing that I am getting vain… What have I done? Basically, I am just getting more mobile and aware of the surrounding.
- I started pulling out stuff from popo’s wardrode and pick out little handbags to try on.
- I will slot the little handbag over my arm and walk around the house.
- I will point at that hairclip on the Hello kitty’s head and then tap my hand on my head.
- I can do a few cute poses that stunned Mommy cos she is never girly.
- Capability of sharing. I feed Mommy with my leftover biscuits. ;)
- Follows simple commands and understands simple questions. I can understand mandarin and follow some of popo’s instructions. Depending on my mood, I can bring a certain toy to Mommy and the TV controller to gonggong.
- Eg. When asked, “Where is the fan?”… I point to the ceiling fan.
- Eg. When asked, “Where is Mommy?”… I point to the correct wall that hangs the family portrait.
- Point to a few body parts when asked. I touch my right ear, head and tummy, comb hair upwards and point at my belly button when being asked but refuse to touch my nose.
- I am still in the process of mastering flying kiss
- I am pretty good with stacking rings and applause to myself after completing one.
- Maybe is luck, but I do slot some shapes correctly into the shape sorter sometimes.
- I am almost no longer on pacifier and I throw them aside when someone tries poking it into my mouth.
- Not forgetting my famous milk milk sign and say “nan nan nan nan~” since half a year back
- I babble a lot of soundlike words. Lately, I try repeating the last two words of the sentences during my parent’s conversation.
- Depending on my mood, sometimes I wave at every passerby, including the stray cats.
- Whenever gonggong comes back from his evening walk, I will put my hand into his shirt pocket and pull out his dollar notes. ;)
- Does not understand consequences of behavior. At supermarket, I prefer to walk by myself and push Mommy’s hand away.
- I refuse to sit quietly on the shopping cart. I will protest by climbing out of it.
- I will grab hold of anything that’s within my reach and pull them off the shelves
- There was once I grasp the sweet thai coconuts at the fruits section and try dropping them one by one onto the floor. Poor Mommy got to catch hold of the coconuts and quickly placed them back before the supermarket people come after us.
